We are pleased to announce that effective Monday, June 1st, we will resume curbside recycling on your regularly scheduled recycling day. This includes the City of Covington, City of Mandeville, City of Picayune, Town of Abita Springs, St. Tammany Parish Garbage District #1, and all HOA’s that we service. This does not include the City of Slidell. At the current time, the City of Slidell expects to continue the temporary 2x per week garbage service with no recycling.

As we resume curbside recycling in your area, we would like to ask everyone to please only place items that are recyclable in your recycling cart or bin. Please DO NOT place plastic bags, glass, #3 – #7 plastics with your recyclables. These items are considered residual waste. Unfortunately, any recycling cart or bin that contains items that are not recyclable will have to be left down and dumped with your garbage on your next service day for garbage. Please click on the link below to view items that are recyclable and items that are not recyclable. We also encourage you to view the infomercial to learn more about items that can be recycled and those items that can’t be recycled.

On behalf of all of our TEAM members, we would like to thank all of our customers for your patience and understanding during the past 6 weeks. The safety and health of our employees have been a top priority. We are happy to be back at almost full staff which is one of the reasons we will be able to resume curbside recycling on June 1st.

Gus, along with his team, humbly asks for the opportunity to retain the business of current Waste Connection customers, re-gain those who may have left Waste Connections over the past year and earn the business of new customers.
