Normal Garbage Routes Planned for Wednesday, September 16, 2020

Tuesday, September 15 Morning Update!

NO GARBAGE COLLECTION TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 15th

As a reminder, we announced yesterday afternoon that we would not be running any routes today – Tuesday, September 15th. It appears at this time that the high winds that were expected to be in the area all day today will not reach the projected levels that were announced late yesterday afternoon. That is good news for our area. We hope that while Sally continue to drift to the west that the storm will make a turn this afternoon as projected as start heading east. Our thoughts and prayers remain with everyone that is in the projected path of this storm.

SCHEDULE FOR WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 16th

Currently, our plan is to run our normal Wednesday Garbage routes tomorrow. Please have your cart to the curb tonight or prior to 4 am tomorrow morning. We also ask that you please place your cart with the handle facing your residence and that you Containerize as much of your waste as possible.

ATTENTION CUSTOMERS THAT ARE NORMALLY PICKED UP 2X PER WEEK ON TUESDAY AND FRIDAY

We will pick up your garbage on your second collection day which will be this Friday. Please put your cart to the curb on Thursday evening or prior to 4 am on Friday morning.

ATTENTION CUSTOMER THAT ARE NORMALLY PICKED UP 1x PER WEEK ON TUESDAY

You should have received a robocall last night informing you which day your garbage will be collected. You will probably receive another robocall today and some of you may receive another robocall on Thursday. We had to adjust the schedule for this week only due to Hurricane Sally.

NO RECYCLING THIS WEEK

As a reminder — all Recycling routes have been cancelled this week. We will resume our normal recycling next week starting on Monday September 21st.

OFFICE HOURS

Our office is currently closed. We will reopen our office for normal business hours at 8am on Wednesday morning.

Please continue to monitor our Facebook page and website for updates. At this time we do not anticipate having to change the schedule for tomorrow, Thursday or Friday.

On behalf of our entire TEAM, we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding for the changes in the schedule this week. The safety of our TEAM members was a top priority for us in making the decision NOT to run any routes today. We had to take the best data that we were given late yesterday afternoon and make an informed decision. Our employees thank you for your support for their safety.

As always, thank you very much for being part of our FAMILY at Coastal Environmental Services. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone that is in the path of Hurricane Sally. We pray that no one experiences loss of life or property. Please stay safe.
