Recycling Services Delayed to Assist Post Hurricane Efforts

ATTENTION RESIDENTS INSIDE THE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SLIDELL

NO RECYCLING WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 4th

Recycling is cancelled for Wednesday, November 4th in the City of Slidell in order to focus all of our efforts on completing the Tuesday Garbage routes as well as starting on picking up bagged storm debris. The volume of garbage has been very heavy since last Friday. There is no need to email or call in your location for bagged storm debris. We will post on our Facebook page and website once we have completed sweeping the City for all bagged debris. Once we have completed sweeping the City we will resume the process of entering tickets for debris piles. We appreciate your patience as it will take several weeks to pick up all bagged storm debris across the City of Slidell.

The City of Slidell has contracted DRC to start picking up all loose green debris (trees, limbs, leaves) from locations inside the City of Slidell. This process will start on November 9th and will take several weeks to complete. For any information about the removal of the loose storm debris, please visit the City’s website or contact the City of Slidell. Once DRC has completed picking up storm debris, we will resume entering tickets for debris piles.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!
