Tropical Storm Sally
We are monitoring Tropical Storm Sally. The current forecast does not look good for our area. High winds and constant rain will be a major concern. We are also concerned about high water in low lying areas. We have to keep in mind that our team members have families and they need to prepare and protect their homes as well.
As of this minute, we will be running all of our normal garbage routes on Monday, September 14. However, there is a very good chance that we will start earlier than normal so our team can finish their routes, return to our facility safely, and be able to get home safely.
Please plan on putting your cart(s)to the curb tonight. Please refrain from putting any bulky waste or green waste to the curb at this time. Our main focus will be to get household garbage picked up on Monday.
There is also a very good chance that we will cancel recycling collection this entire week. This will allow us to use all of our resources on making sure all household garbage is collected.
Please continue to check our Facebook page for updates. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday could have major changes to services. We will keep you updated as often as possible.
Thank you in advance to all of our customers for your patience and understanding this week. One of our main priorities the next few days will be the safety of all of our Team members.
