As a reminder, we ask that you put your Garbage cart out the night before your scheduled pick-up day or prior to 5:00 am on your scheduled day for service.
An additional cart may be purchased for $85 per year plus a $20 delivery fee or rented for $24/per year. Fees must be paid in advance. You also have the option to purchase your own 85-gallon cart from your local Hardware Store.

DEBRIS PILES/GREEN WASTE
We pick up Green Waste weekly. Residents may call Coastal Environmental Services directly at 985-781-3171 to schedule a pickup for a large pile. It may take up to two weeks for removal.
Green waste defined: Grass, leaves, flowers, stalks, stems, Christmas trees, and tree trimmings that are generated by a Producer and not by a third-party contractor or commercial tree cutter. Tree trunks and limbs shall not exceed 50 lbs. in weight or 12” in diameter. Trees, limbs, branches, etc should be bundled and tied. Leaves should be containerized or bagged. All of the preceding in a pile not to exceed 15’ long, 6’ wide, and 5’ high.

KNOW YOUR PLASTICS
PET 1 includes soda and water bottles, food containers, personal care products, liquid hand soap, and shampoo bottles.
The easiest way to tell what type of plastic you are dealing with is to look
on the item and find the recycling logo with a number inside.

KNOW YOUR PLASTICS
HDPE 2 includes milk jugs, coffee containers, condiment bottles and detergent bottles.
We accepts all HDPE containers but do not accept grocery bags.
If you cannot find a 1 or 2 on the plastic then it is best to not throw it in the recycle bin.
